The Great Falls 2025 "Spring Thaw" Swap-meet is coming!

Location: Cascade County DES Building
521 1st Avenue Northwest
Great Falls, MT
(in the parking lot BEHIND the building. Use the gate entrance from 6th Street NW)

Tailgate swap meet. No cost to attend or to sell!

Coffee and light refreshments will be available.

This year our theme is "Makers". We are looking for folks to demonstrate simple radio-related projects.

We already have several "Makers" demonstrations scheduled:

-Building high-capacity batteries for portable operations

-Basic soldering skills demonstration

-Building antennas for QRP operations


Additional activities include:

-Equipment Test Station: 12-volt power supply, watt meter, and dummy load so you can test basic radio functions and power output.

-All About Amateur Radio: Bruce (KA2ODP) will have his display and information on how to get your Amateur Radio license. Introduce a non-ham friend to our hobby!

-Plus other activities to be announced.
