HOtspot Frequencies

Post by N7YO »

Don Heide, the Montana repeater coordinator has set aside the following frequencies for use by Hotspots within the 70cm band.

440.0125 440.0250 440.0375 440.0500

441.1000 441.1125 441.1250 441.1375

These are all simplex frequencies. As with all frequencies used, you should ensure they are not in use prior to conducting communications. Also if you plan on traveling outside Montana with your hotspot, you should probably contact the appropriate entity in the state(s) you are traveling to for their suggested frequencies. It is not required you do so but whatever frequency you choose please stay away from satellite and repeater uplink/downlink frequencies. And as always be courteous and ensure the frequency you choose is not in use.
