PSK31

Post by N7YO »

OK it's time to get some chatter going so with that in mind lets find out a little bit about one of the proven digital modes that has really sparked a lot of interest, PSK31.

Who can answer these questions about PSK31? Pick one and please try to give some detail to your answer like a paragraph or two. There is plenty of information available on this topic. (Google is your friend!)

Who developed PSK31?

What was PSK31 designed after. (There are actually at least 2 correct answers here.)

What modes are available for PSK31 and what is the difference between them?

What does the "31" refer to in PSK31?

Good luck, I'll be watching here! ;)

Thanks for the reply Bob, Yup the "31" refers to bandwidth occupied by the signal in Hz.

OK, there are several other questions up for grabs, who's next?
